Now is not a good time for the air conditioner to need replacing.
But honestly, when is?
We've had a/c problems off and on for a few years but the thing is dead now.
Completely.
And it's hot.
Plus, we are completely dissatisfied with our repairman and don't really want him to do the installation of the new unit. But trying to choose another service company has been sooo difficult! We've gotten estimates from several large, reputable companies as well as referrals from other people, but it's still hard to know who to go with - especially when the pricing varies from $3,600 - 10,000!
All I know is this:
It is waaay too hot and humid to even be able to make a rational decision. All we can think about is get our a/c back on and get it on QUICK!
Check back in tomorrow. If I'm not sweating to death ( it's going to be at least Wednesday before we're cool again ) or a total zombie for lack of sleep ( may need to head to a hotel for the night...), I will be posting about the new LG hair accessories and there might even be a giveaway...
