More remnants!

I mentioned several weeks ago that I would start selling off the leftover pieces of fabric I have from pinafores/skirts that will no longer be carried on the website. I meant to start listing these some time ago and just haven't been able to get it done. But, here's some to get started and I will probably have a few more soon, although there really isn't too much left.

But before I get going, I thought I would answer a few of the most common questions that I've been asked so far regarding the new halter dress. I've received quite a bit of email about it and decided to post my answers here as well in case others of you have been wondering the same things. :)

1.  Yes,  I will be making the dress in other fabric combinations.  The prints used for the tester are from the new collection by MoMo for Moda (same designer that created the Wonderland line) that I purchased to incorporate in another design and then changed my mind last-minute.

2.  Yes, you can request a longer or shorter length, I just ask that you do so at the time of purchase if at all possible.

3.  And yes, there is a skirt-only version coming out! Very cute and great for coordinating outfits without matching exactly. :)

Freebird Apron Halter Dress

Okay, here it is! Another tester dress.  This one was made for ( and is modeled by ) my 2 year-old niece. It was sewn without a pattern and without me having her nearby to try on as I went along so I've already made some small changes. :) But, I would really like some feedback so there are a few available at a reduced price for you to purchase in exchange for your opinion on fit & style. A bad blogger am I.

No, I did not disappear off the face of the earth! Though I admit that I times I have wanted to.  I am so sorry for not posting for the last few weeks. I just couldn't make it happen. Things have been crazy in lassie land. I mean, it's always crazy, but this was crazier than usual. Stressful times for sure, but what's life without a little stress every now and then? ;0)

  And of course, I am pretty behind on things in general. Except for orders. All of those have been miraculously going out on time. So, if you have been waiting to hear back from me for one thing or another (except for correspondence pertaining to orders, that is the only thing getting answered quickly), I am slowly but surely getting around to them all. It will probably be early next week before I am caught up, but hopefully no later than that. Your patience is, as always, very appreciated! :)

I have not forgotten about the hair clip tutorial. I have not forgotten about the new spring items (um, maybe summer now?). They're all coming, I promise! 

On Monday ( hopefully ) I will have one of the new items up for sale as a tester. I have done this in the past and it really helps me get a feel for whether or not I need to change things in the pattern. I actually had not planned on doing this for any of the new items, but I do have some leftover fabric from another project that I would like to use up and it wouldn't hurt to get a little feedback on this dress ( sizes 12m - 8 ). There will only be a limited amount available and the price will be much lower than what it will sell for regularly in exchange for your opinion on the fit/style. Also, be prepared to give me a few measurements if you do order one. I want to compare them with what I have and see if I'm right, or at least close, on my sizing.
